Is the free plan really free, forever?
Yes. One car, one photo per car, one attachment per log entry, and free with no time limit and no card on file. The paid plans exist for capacity and export, not to unlock the basics.
Can I track modifications, not just maintenance?
Every entry is tagged maintenance or modification, so the build log and the service log live in one timeline. Filter any way: parts, cost, notes, and photos are all searchable.
What happens to my data if I downgrade?
Your records stay yours; nothing is ever deleted. If you drop to a plan with a lower car limit, everything stays readable and editable; you just can't add more cars until you upgrade or remove one.
